Safety From The Storm


Life presents us opportunities and delights,
And can still at times bring such fright.
We wander round in waves of confusion,
In hope and seeking the ultimate illusion.
Along the way, we encounter others,
Who live and treat us as their brother.
Love, respect, and concerns we share,
But yet we seek to be a part, a pair.
To celebrate life together as one
Until our time on this earth is done.
The complete and ultimate bond we seek
Our souls connected as we peek.
Some have nothing, others have all.
To find true love we must take the fall.
To give ourselves wholly to our soul mate,
Never again to suffer fear or hate.
This bond our safety from the storm,
From now until eternity’s morn.
